Now This Really Pisses Me Off

Recently, much for the same reasons as Hitler set up the Gestapo, Chairman Obama set up an un-Constitutional White House Snitch Office. His Snitch Czar demands that "Good Americans" send to the White House (flag@whitehouse.gov) all email correspondence disagreeing with the Obamessiah, including all email addresses to and from, and to even report casual conversations with people disagreeing with Obama. It is illegal because our First Amendment Right to free Speech forbids the government to intimidate Americans who do speak. If having your fellow Americans rat you out for speaking out of Communism isn't intimidation by the government -- I don't know what is.

Today, I receive the Below email from David Axelrod (one of Obama's Chicago Thugs)  at the White House. I have never sent the White House my email address and have nothing to say to the Chicago Thugs and Communists currently infesting that building. I can only assume I was snitched on by one of the Chairman's loyal comrades -- and the White House feels like I need to be re-educated on Socialized Health Care.

This is what it has come to -- snitch, and then re-educate those not goose-stepping to the tune of Hope and Change. What happens to the ones refusing to be re-educated? We know how Jos. Stalin and Adolph Hitler handled them -- and how their loyal subjects refused to believe what was going on right under their very noses.

Isn't ironic that Liberals and the ACLU are so concerned with the Government listening in on the phone calls of Islamic terrorists -- yet our email address are being collected and Communist propaganda sent to it? What do you think the next step, and the one after that will be?

Your Government, Your Taxes, Your Hobby

In the above video, you see one of the requirements of your government's new "Cash for  Clunkers" program initiated this past Monday. This is a program where your government pays $4500 to get those nasty pick up trucks and SUVs off the road -- so that you instead drive a nice green little toy car. In this perverse program using our tax dollars, dealers have to drain all of the liquids out of the motor and pour liquid glass into the motor -- running it until she blows. Personally, I think it is the program that blows.

Declaration of Independence from a Corrupt Federal Government’s Tyranny

The call for a quick and peaceful revolution from a corrupt and non-representative government, and to return to the citizens of the United States the government of the people our forefathers fought for.

History of the United States Government:

On July 4, 1776, brave men representing the people of the United States of America declared their Independence and a Separation from a corrupt and tyrannical government that unfairly taxed and governed them. After fighting for their independence in the Revolutionary War, and ousting the corrupt Authoritarian (The Rule of the few) government, they replace it with a Republic Democracy (The Rule of the many). With this new form of Government, the individual states had local control of the majority of its laws regarding the day-to-day lives of its citizens. The Federal Government made up of a Congress elected by the States to create and vote on Bills regarding Interstate Commerce and the Country’s Security, a President (a natural born citizen of the United States over 35 years of age) elected by the states to act as Commander and Chief of the Military and to sign or veto the Congress’ Bills into law, and a Supreme Court to interpret those laws.

For nearly two centuries this form of government worked well. However in the 1930s, a rival country ruled by a Communist form of government had the expansionist plan of seeing the world under Communist rule – and infiltrated the United States with a complex combination of professors, politicians, community organizers, and organizations with the ultimate goal of disrupting our Republic Democracy -- so that it would collapse from within. While these Communist governments have since collapsed, they were successful with having the Federal Government evolve into a Socialist Democracy hybrid of Communism called Liberalism. This created a class of American citizens who have become totally dependent on the Federal Government, rather than moving towards self improvement through their own efforts. Shortly thereafter, corrupt politicians learned that they could become elected to Federal office simply by giving the promise of gifts from the public treasury to those looking for the easy way of having others pay their way through life. Once in office, these corrupt politicians learned that other citizens who once had a Christian Work Ethic, became discouraged with the unfair spreading of the wealth from the placing an unfair tax burden on some to pay most of the taxes, while most contribute nothing to the system. Many of those heavily taxed for their successes, became discouraged and ultimately took the easy way of government dependency. Once dependant on the government, those citizens no longer considered the ethics of the corrupt politicians, but only what those politicians promised to give them if elected. This created virtual lifetime positions to such people as those with the last names of Kennedy, Kerry, Frank – despite their nefarious records of manslaughter, treason, and male prostitution.

Once there, these corrupt politicians gave themselves special retirement and medical benefits at no cost to them, benefits that no other citizen would ever be entitled to. They treated the public treasury as their special operations account for personal travel junkets and putting their crony friends on the government payroll. They write “Pork Barrel” laws which give to their friends and supporters billions of dollars unfairly taken from the earnings of its people. They sell their influence openly to the highest bidder, and without care of any recourse to them. American Citizens no longer have the right to demand an accounting of the Treasury which send it collectors to financially ruin its citizens. American Citizens no longer have the right to question of the legality (under the Constitution) of a man to serve as President of the United States. Other Constitutional Rights such as the Right to Bear Arms are slowly, but steadily, being taken away from its people, through backdoor registration policies and ammunition restrictions.

Current State of Our Federal Government:

In the last few years, while the Rights promised the people of the United States in the Bill of Rights have been ignored, we have watched morality attacked with such protections as the right for a woman to kill her fetus, and the right for men to openly display their sick and depraved behavior against nature. Citizens of the United States have to endure the Double-Standards of allowing certain people to have the protections only afforded to them, as a protected class. The United States is currently in a situation where 5% of the people pay 80% of the County’s Income Taxes and are “means-tested” from receiving any benefit, while 40% pay nothing and receive all of these Federal gifts (Entitlements) as a reward for their vote for Liberalism. Many of these people, displeased with a system where success is penalized and failure rewarded, have retired many years before they had originally planned, rather to continue paying an unfair tax burden place upon them. Businesses in the United States face the highest taxes of civilized countries, and are being driven out of the United States. At the same time as tax revenue is falling from businesses moving and successful people retiring -- corrupt politicians are bankrupting the United States with yet more gifts (one alone totaling close to $1,000,000,000,000) to their friends and supporters -- in an effort to stay in a position offering so much corruption opportunity to them.

We have Federal Courts and the Supreme Court being loaded up with Justices who openly legislate from the bench – instead of interpreting law.

We have an Executive Branch acting as a monarch. It has been Nationalizing private businesses, rewarding its supporters with ownership, and ignoring existing bankruptcy laws through extortion and graft.

What We Want:

We the sane people of the United States believe in the original principles our founding fathers created for us:

We believe that all men are equal, and should have equal opportunities to personally succeed. Opportunity means that no person should be excluded from personal success based on who they are – and not that every citizen has the guaranteed right to the rewards of personal success without the required efforts to achieve that success.

We believe that it is the States and Local governments who best know what its citizen’s want, and it is they who should do the majority of the governing. It is not the Federal Government’s purpose to manage the day-to-day lives of the citizens of the United States.

We believe Federal officials should be accountable to the people. That means complete transparency of new laws and how all tax revenue is spent. The treasury should undergo the same audits it forces upon its people, to account for every cent collected and spent. All Federal Bills should be publicly posted in its entirety for 72 hours prior to being voted on without “middle of the night” amendments to favor political cronies.

We believe that these elected officials are not entitled to the incredible retirement and health benefits not available to any other citizen of the United States. Our Founding Fathers worked without compensation, rather than profit immensely through corrupt graft.

We believe that elected officials should act ethically, and those who don’t should be tried, convicted, and jailed. Politicians should be held to at least the same criminal standards as the people they govern -- and not receive all of the Mulligans they give themselves. Those convicted of Felonies should not have the ability to hold any Federal position.

We believe that the Constitution and Bill of Rights should not be ignored, and that a Presidential candidate must prove his eligibility to run, prior to being certified to run.

We believe that this country was founded on Judo-Christian principles, and that those principles should not be cast aside in favor of those of violent cults calling for the death of all with different values, subversive outside influences created with the sole goal to disrupt, or the perverted immoral desires of a few.

We believe that the purpose of the Federal Government is to protect the United States from attacks from the outside, and to regulate Interstate Commerce. That’s it!

We believe the people should have a say in how our taxes are dispersed – including the spreading it to our enemies in foreign lands.

We believe that people should be responsible for themselves and their families -- and that it is the moral duty of local governments and charities -- and not the legal duty of a distant and corrupt Federal Government to help those who cannot help themselves.

We believe that for citizens to be qualified to vote, they must be American citizens over 21 years of age, not ever convicted of a felony, and do not owe back child support. They should register in person every six years, have a background check to ensure they’re eligible, and be issued a Voter’s Registration card. They should vote in person at their assigned polling place (which should be open for a full 24 hours to reduce crowds and be convenient to all voters), unless they are in the Armed Forces or part of the Diplomatic Corp on assignment outside of the United States. Military Personnel and the Diplomatic Corp. should have their vote 7 days in advance, so that 100% of their votes will be counted. No other mail-in votes should be allowed because of the rampant Voter Fraud through them. People in nursing homes suffering from Alzheimer's or Dementia shouldn't have ACORN scam them out of a vote for their candidate. If the county has to shut down for some people to be at their assigned polling place for one day every 2 years for a legitimate vote – then so be it.

It is not the place of the Federal Government to fund Radio Stations, TV stations, Subversive College Professors, hospitals their wife has a no report job at, Cults, or community organizers. Charity should come the people – not the governments – and the people should have to right to fund the charities that wish to, and not fund those going against their personal beliefs.

We believe we should protect our borders, and only allow enough guest workers as we require.

Solution for a Peaceful Revolution to Return to a Real Republic:

We believe that prior to any state’s succession from the United States, or any type of coup to oust the corrupt politicians who are continually elected through voter fraud or by their promises to ignore the Constitution, the people of the United States should first try to elect only those politicians who promise the following:

• Eliminate the corrupt benefits that encourage people to run for Federal office not because they are patriots, but because of the elitist retirement and health benefits they have entitled to themselves after one day in office. • Term Limitations of no more than one six year term to any Federal Office, including Federal Judges. The days of 50 year dynasties needs to end. • Acknowledge that it is not the purpose of the Federal Government to do anything more than to provide National Security and regulate Interstate Commerce. Politicians from Chicago, San Francisco, and Las Vegas not only do not know the lifestyle the people of Texas want to live – but the people in Texas could care less if a mouse in San Francisco is endangered and requires a couple billion dollars to save.
• Eliminate all social programs administered by the Federal government, so that the State and local governments can take them over -- if they deem worthy. The closer to home government is – the better the money will be spent on its citizens.
• Totally eliminate personal income tax and the outrageous expenses of the IRS by its elimination, in favor of a small National Sales Tax which only covers the administrating of National Security and Interstate Commerce. No Pork – No Waste – No Cronies -- No Junkets. States and Localities can then adjust their sales tax to pay for services their citizens wish to be provided. No more ability of certain people avoiding taxes. Under the table work, Illegal aliens, drug pushers, the Mafia, crack whores, visitors to the US, and anyone buying something would pay a small sale tax on it. The more you buy, the more tax is collected -- regardless of your "reported Income". The less you buy, the less taxes you pay.
• Release from prison all persons serving time because of their personal income tax conviction. It is unfair to penalize the 5% given the unreasonable tax burden that 40% never had to pay a penny of.
• Release from all from Income Tax liens
• Restructure Federal Courts and Federal Prisons to only deal with cases regarding National Security and Interstate Commerce.
• States are to pay the salaries of all of their Federal Politicians, their staffs, and their expenses. The Federal government will only provide them with a reasonable place to office and meet. Money will then be better spent if it is the states who have to pay for their representatives.
• Totally eliminate Social Security and Medicare, and turn the funds over to the last state of record for any living person paying into the system, proportionate to the amount they paid in -- less the amount they’ve received. Let the people of the state decide if they want the government to administer Social Security or for the people to contract it to a state regulated private sector. While a lot of people will be hurt and the States will need to figure out how to deal with it – the corrupt system were $15 of every $100 salary is collected and wasted is by far worse. When people move from State to State – their account follows them to that state. Let’s take the beating now before it gets worse.
• Anyone running for Federal Election must completely prove themselves as eligible prior to being allowed on the ballot.
• Major revamping of the election process to stop the money that corrupts.
• Elimination of all Federal departments having nothing to do with National Security or Interstate Commerce.

This is the last chance plan for a Peaceful Independence from the tyranny of a repressive Federal Government of corrupt people. Failure only leaves the options of total failure from financial and moral bankruptcy (as the Greek and Roman Empires failed), military coup, or violent revolution.

America Has Cease to Have a Government Of The People For The People - Texans Need To Lookout For Themselves Before It Is Too Late!

As I write this, or fraudulently serving President has finished visiting all of his friends in the Arab Countries — and is in visiting with his Communist friends in Russia. Yet, no one appears to be concerned that the United States has an illegally and fraudulently elected Executive Branch — and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. The is the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on the American people — allowing for the treasonous acts of ignoring our Bill of Rights and Constitution.

No one has ever seen a legitimate Birth Certificate proving Chairman Obama's American Citizenship — and America appears to be powerless to ask for this proof. The American Constitution and Bill of Rights are being shredded in favor of politicians changing government to suit them — not the people they represent.

We've all seen the videos of Obama's Grandmother in Kenya state that he was born in Kenya as his mother was too far along in her pregnancy to travel back to the US to have Obama there. We've seen people traveling to Kenya to interview witnesses and copy documentation immediately arrested, have their passports seized, and deported - as the Obama family has a lot of power in that Communist governed Muslim country. We've seen the arguments of those going to school in Indonesia having to be citizens of Indonesia, and to give up any other citizenship. We've not been allowed to see proof of his re-admittance into the US from Indonesia, where he'd have to declare citizenship and reapply for US citizenship. We've seen all of his college records ordered sealed — where scholarship information based on Muslim faith and non-US Citizenship are alleged to be disclosed. We've all seen the stories giving serious and legitimate doubt of Obama's American citizenship, as a REQUIREMENT to serve as President — but here is a new twist WE hadn't known.

What passport did he use when he was shuttling between New York , Jakarta , and Karachi ?

So how did a young man who arrived in New York in early June 1981, without the price of a hotel room in his pocket, suddenly come up with the price of a round-the-world trip just a month later? And once he was on a plane, shuttling between New York, Jakarta, and Karachi, what passport was he offering when he passed through Customs and Immigration?

It makes the debate over Obama's citizenship a rather short and simple one.

Q: Did he travel to Pakistan in 1981, at age 20?

A: Yes, by his own admission.

  Q: What passport did he travel under?

A: There are only three possibilities.

  1. He traveled with a U.S. Passport,

  2) He traveled with a British passport, or

  3) He traveled with an Indonesia passport.

Q: Is it possible that Obama traveled with a U.S. Passport in 1981?

A: No. It is not possible. Pakistan was on the U.S. State Department's "no travel" list in 1981.

Conclusion: When Obama went to Pakistan in 1981 he was traveling either with a British passport or an Indonesian passport. If he was traveling with a British passport that would provide proof that he was born in Kenya on August 4, 1961, not in Hawaii as he claims. And if he was traveling with an Indonesian passport that would prove that he relinquished whatever previous citizenship he held, British or American, prior to being adopted by his Indonesian step-father in 1967.

Whatever the truth of the matter, the American people need to know how he managed to become a "natural born" American citizen between 1981 and 2008. Given the destructive nature of his plans for America, as illustrated by his speech before Congress and the disastrous spending plan he has presented to Congress, the sooner we learn the truth of all this, the better.

The American people not only deserve to have answers to these questions, they must have answers. However, instead of getting those answers — Obama, with absolute protection from those politicians taking away all of our rights in our best interest, is planning his next move as Chairmanship of his dream World Government — which is Communist like and Pro-Muslim. If you think we are a "Government of the People, For The People" — you are a dreamer.

On July 4th, 1776 — brave men signed the Declaration of Independence. In that Declaration, is the following:

That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their safety and happiness.

…when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us.

They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity.

Are we as Brave as our Forefathers? Hardly! A little more than half are looking for Hope & Change where they get something for nothing. The rest are apathetic Sheeple who will stand by and allow their rights to be taken from them — and then cry when it is too late.

It is time replace a repressive government giving us (high) Taxation Without Representation — before this country is bankrupted into a full Dictatorship with Chairman Obama your ruler.

Success Again Redistributes With A Success 4% Sur-Tax

July 7 (Bloomberg) -- House Ways and Means Committee members are likely to propose a surtax on high-income Americans to help pay for an overhaul of the health-care system, according to people familiar with the plan.

The tax would be similar to, yet much smaller than, a surtax proposed in 2007 by Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Rangel, a person familiar with the committee’s talks said. That plan would have added at least a 4 percent levy on incomes exceeding $200,000, and was projected to reap as much as $832 billion over 10 years.

Two people familiar with closed-door talks by committee Democrats said a House bill probably will include a surtax on incomes exceeding $250,000, as Congress seeks ways to pay for changes to a health-care system that accounts for almost 18 percent of the U.S. economy. By targeting wealthier Americans, a surtax may hold more appeal for House Democrats than a Senate proposal to tax some employer-provided health benefits.

“The surtax is obviously more attractive to Democrats in the House because it’s more progressive, which they find attractive in and of itself,” said Paul Van de Water, a senior fellow at the Washington-based Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a research group focused on policies affecting low- and moderate-income families.

Supporters on the Ways and Means Committee include Representative Lloyd Doggett, , a Texas Democrat who backs including a surtax among revenue-raising measures in a health- care package, Doggett spokeswoman Sarah Dohl said.

Republicans in Congress, and some Senate Democrats, are likely to fight moves to increase tax rates, said a  Clinton Stretch, who analyzes tax legislation at Deloitte Tax LLP, a Washington consulting firm.

Republican Opposition

“This will be a point of discomfort for moderate or conservative Democrats” in the Senate, he said. “It will be an anathema for Republicans.”

The possibility of raising taxes on top earners surfaced last month as a revenue option for members of Rangel’s committee, and the people familiar with the talks cautioned that no agreement has been reached. A Senate plan to tax the value of employee benefits that exceed coverage for federal workers may generate as much as $418.5 billion over 10 years, though talks are focused on proposals that would raise considerably less.

Rangel’s 2007 plan would have added a 4 percent tax on incomes exceeding $200,000 and an extra 0.6 percent levy on those making more than $500,000. A House plan this year may include lower rates and higher income thresholds, a person familiar with the plan said.

Tax Increase

A surtax proposal would force President Barack Obama to decide whether he is willing to add the levy on top of higher income-tax rates for top earners that he wants to take effect in 2011. Obama has promised that he won’t increase taxes on Americans earning less than $250,000 and said he will delay increases for high-income earners until 2011.

Obama hasn’t commented on the possibility of a surtax, and the White House had no comment on specific proposals. The president has proposed limiting itemized deductions for high- income taxpayers.

Obama has said he doesn’t want to tax health-insurance benefits, while refusing to rule out that possibility if it helps seal approval for an overall health package.

Congressional Democrats have said they may need to raise taxes by at least half a trillion dollars to pay for the health- care revamp, in addition to savings of almost as much through steps such as reducing Medicare subsidies and cutting prices the elderly pay for medications.

‘Everything’ on Table

Matthew Beck, a spokesman for the Ways and Means Committee, declined to comment about the surtax option, saying only that “everything’s on the table.”

Michael Steel, a spokesman for House Minority Leader John Boehner of Ohio, the chamber’s top-ranking Republican, said his party would oppose a surtax because it would “disproportionately” affect small businesses, whose owners often include business income in amounts taxed on their individual returns.

“With unemployment nearing double digits, we need to help small businesses grow and create jobs, not squeeze the life out of them with even higher taxes,” Steel said.

According to the Tax Policy Center, a Washington research group, about 4.3 million of 150 million U.S. households filing tax returns will earn more than $200,000 this year.

A surtax would be levied on adjusted gross income, before deductions for items such as mortgage interest and charitable gifts. Regular income taxes are assessed after such write-offs.

Different Objectives

Eugene Steuerle, vice president of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, a non-profit federal budget watchdog group, said the surtax and a levy on benefits reflect “very different objectives.” A surtax would make the tax code more progressive, and cutting tax incentives for employer-provided insurance is intended to discourage unnecessary use of medical services, he said.

Mark Weinberger, vice chairman of New York-based Ernst & Young LLP, said that while Republicans won’t back higher tax rates, House Democrats at this point don’t need bipartisan support.

“Strategically, what Democrats have to do is just move the ball forward,” Weinberger said. “Whatever revenue raisers they have in the House or Senate bills will change throughout the process.”

The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America

When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. He has made judges dependent on his will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

Letter From a Texas Chrysler Dealer

May 16, 2009 Dear America, Recently, Chrysler, LLC notified Rogers Dodge, Inc., in Alvin, Texas of their anticipated closing of our dealership. Chrysler has pled their story quite publicly for several months in support of their request of billions of taxpayer dollars. This is our story. We occupy a 3-year old Dodge-designed building for which we paid cash when it was built. It was appraised at $3,700,000 in 2007. We qualified as a Five Star dealer for the 2009 calendar year. We have remained profitable through all of this downturn. We have in excess of $1,000,000 in working capital in our dealership. We are selling at or above market share. We pay $75,000 per year in local property taxes and collect millions of dollars annually in state sales taxes. We employ 38 Alvin, Texas residents who all pay property tax, sales tax and income tax. The owner, Mr. Peter Mankins, my uncle, owns 6 other dealerships, and has no liens on any of his properties or franchises. He has maintained a car dealership in Texarkana, Texas since the late 1960s. He purchased that dealership from my grandfather, who purchased it from my great-grandfather, who rode shotgun next to his father when he was 9, as they were settling the Oklahoma Territory. My great-grandfather started in the automotive business in the early 1900s as a motorcycle repairman, which eventually segued into an International Harvester franchise, and, subsequently, a Pontiac franchise. I have a large family, almost all of which are connected with auto dealerships in one way or another. I state all of this so that there is no confusion by Chrysler or the bankruptcy court or the US government over whether we are a group of half-committed dealers - we are not short-term auto dealers/we are committed over several generations. Chrysler and its dealers have been portrayed in the media as regressive small-town morons. Speaking solely for the dealers, I assure you this is not the case.

In the past year, we have embarked on several creative initiatives in order to remain profitable and out of bankruptcy court. We have become a very competitive used vehicle internet dealer by patterning ourselves after the most successful used vehicle internet dealers in the country. Selling more used vehicles than new vehicles is one of the stated criteria upon which Chrysler based their decision to close us. Would Chrysler have preferred their dealers join them in bankruptcy court? It was never our desire to allow ourselves to be a burden on the American taxpayers; nor do we plan this in the future. Selling more used vehicles has enabled us to not only avoid layoffs, but to actually grow our employee population from 25 to 38 during the period of May 2008 to May 2009, a 52 percent increase.

Further, in the first four months of 2009, our new vehicle sales have increased by approximately 50% by employing the same innovative practices within our new vehicle department. Though Dodge district sales are down by about 50%, our new vehicle sales actually increased comparing April 2008 and April 2009. In our parts department, we have created one of very few eBay parts stores selling new factory parts. We have listed in excess of 4,000 Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep factory parts and are by far the largest internet seller of OEM DCJ parts in the world. This has increased our monthly parts sales by approximately 35% in a short 5 month period. In our service department, we have recently added an additional service advisor, a service manager, and three additional master technicians, have endeavored to maintain the least expensive oil change in town and, effective this month, extended our service hours to 14 hours per weekday and 10 hours on Saturdays. We were on track to move to 24-hour/7-day a week service hours by he end of 2009. Just this month, we hired a graduating University of Houston student as a photographer and videographer. We began the process of taking studio-quality photographs of our inventory, something which no other auto retailer in the country is doing. When Chrysler needed dealers to purchase inventory so that the factories could keep operating and their employees could retain their paychecks, we complied and ordered 10 months of inventory. Our interest on inventory swelled from $15,000 monthly to beyond $50,000 monthly. Effectively, we took pay cuts in order to support Chrysler's cause. When Mr. Landry uttered his veiled threat that Chrysler would "remember those who supported us and those who didn't," we felt that we had done our part to support Chrysler and its workers. Now, we realize that we were just supporting our own demise. Last week, we were given three weeks to dispose of five months of inventory. In doing so, we anticipate losing in excess of $1 million - we may actually have to inject capital into our business in order to go out of business. Our $2 million plus in equity in our franchise is now completely worthless.
Further, we now face the very real possibility that our new building will sit empty for months or years until someone is willing to purchase it.

Despite all of this, Chrysler is taking our franchise so that it can be given to our neighbor across the street, Ron Carter Autoland. Ron Carter Autoland has the local Ford, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Jeep, Pontiac, Buick and GMC franchises. They occupy a 40 to 50 year old building that does not comply with any manufacturer's design standards. They have recently moved their Ford, Chrysler and Jeep franchises into the same building, a violation of their franchise agreements with both Ford and Chrysler. They have recently cut their service hours, consolidated their used vehicle operations and laid off many employees. The manager, and a major shareholder, of Ron Carter Autoland is Mr. Cary Wilson, President-elect of the Houston Auto Dealers Association - apparently Mr. Wilson's political affiliation is very important to Chrysler, the bankruptcy court and the US government.

How exactly does transferring our franchise to our neighbor serve Chrysler's stated purpose of thinning out dealer numbers? The franchise will still exist - it will just have a new owner.

Though I am a Washington, DC-educated attorney and former employee of the US Department of Labor and the US Senate and an active advocate of the American way of life, it is difficult for me to view this abrogation of our franchise rights as anything more than a manipulation of US bankruptcy court and law so that Chrysler LLC can transfer wealth between dealers they like and those they dislike, those that have agreed to under-table favors and those that haven't, and to settle old vendettas. This is not the purpose of US bankruptcy protection and, surely, it isn't why the US Treasury has given billions to Chrysler to keep them in business.

This is our story; however, it is, unfortunately, not unique. Allowing this manipulation of US bankruptcy law will set a precedent that effectively invalidates all state franchise laws. Though technically a question of law, many of these closings are politically motivated. Thus, anyone with any interest in retaining the US economic system in its current form must contact their political representatives immediately. Small businesses will have no legal protections if these closings are allowed to occur. Rome is burning, America - please wake up.

Governor Perry announced that he will not accept $555Million earmarked for Texas in the Great Generational Theft Bill passed by the new Socialist Congress and signed into law by Chairman Obama of the USSA.

Accepting that money stolen from the Treasury to reward Obama voters, would not only encourage Obamaites to continue to sit at home and watch Oprah and Jerry Springer -- but it would also require Texas to continue with the rewarding of underachievement. Most Texans don't want that -- and those who do need to move back to New Orleans.
