Some Very Bad News

A little over a year ago I discovered ning.com. It allowed people to build a group web site with features like personal blogs, photos, videos, event calendars, and a lot more. All of this was free -- as they ran ads in the right side bar to generate revenue.

Sadly today they announced: New plans and pricing announced! We're focusing 100% on paying Ning Networks and will begin phasing out our free service in July.

So basically after a lot of time was spent putting together a site and generating membership -- they now grab you by the balls and want up to $49.99 a month -- or $400 a year.

Well I'm not going to pay it. I suggest that you immediately copy any context off this site that you want to preserve. Click here for the site that will replace this one. I'm currently looking at buying server side software that will give you all of the features you found on this site.

I'm sorry for this inconvenience -- as I screwed up and trusted them.

Do you Hope to Change the Hope and Change?

Sadly, I'm really thinking it is too late for America. This is not the country I served to defend in the early 70s. While there are a lot of angry people -- too many more love the handouts, haven't yet earned the money to know how painful the "tax and spend" Federal Government hurts them, are too young to know the real evils of Communism, and just don't want to talk even about it. Chairman Obama has the majority of the "Stimulus" money in a holding pattern for later in the year -- to let loose in all of the Democrat held districts in jeopardy (so they get re-elected), the big cities (to get the blacks out to vote), and gifts to the kids (who are still too naive to not fall for the lies). I don't think the USSA will take this very last chance to save itself from a bankrupting Socialism dealt out by corrupt and greedy fools.

Texans are a little different that most of the US -- because they've not yet bought into the Socialism at such a high percentage -- and most Texans still believe in taking personal responsibility, and the Christian Work Ethic. Texas Needs To Secede! Seriously, as much as I hate to see the United States sink -- I don't think Texans should want to go down with the ship. Let's Save ourselves if the United States refuses to save themselves.
